Engineer Salesforce Media Technical Consultant at V2 Strategic Advisors

Salesforce technical consultant who architects and builds declarative and code-based solutions for media/ad sales clients across the full delivery lifecycle.

What this role involves

About V2

V2 Strategic Advisors is where velocity meets voltage - a boutique management and technology consulting firm that has spent 20+ years transforming media and advertising sales organizations. We’re the firm that global and high-growth organizations call when they need more than a strategy deck - they need results.

Our edge? We offer a rare blend of management consulting, data, analytics, AI, and systems integration - all under one roof, powered by best-in-class platforms including Salesforce, Databricks, Snowflake, HubSpot, and leading AI platforms like Claude and Gemini. We understand the nuances of our clients’ most complex challenges and deliver solutions that move the needle.

We’re a lean, elite team of consultants, technical architects, and data experts who operate with the rigor of global management consulting and systems integration consultancies and the energy and agility of a startup. We approach every day with a sense of purpose to deliver with excellence, grow our capabilities, and find fulfillment in what we do. If that sounds like your kind of environment, keep reading.

The Opportunity

V2’s Salesforce continues to thrive, and we’re looking for a technical consultant who can operate across the full Salesforce delivery lifecycle for our media and ad sales clients. In this role, you’ll be cross-functionally aligned to multiple client engagements, leading technical discovery and blueprinting sessions, architecting scalable Salesforce solutions, and building both declarative and code-based components that support complex prospect-to-cash workflows. You’ll partner closely with delivery leadership to advise clients on enterprise Salesforce architecture, manage complex deployments, and ensure that data feeding into and out of the platform is clean, well-structured, and trustworthy. This is a client-facing role that demands both platform depth and the judgment to know when a declarative solution will do the job and when custom code is warranted - along with the communication skills to defend that judgment to senior stakeholders. You bring strong opinions about how Salesforce should be architected, extended, and integrated with the broader data and analytics stack, including platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Databricks, and Tableau, and you’re comfortable using leading-edge AI tooling, such as Claude and Gemini, to accelerate your own build activity. If you want to build something that matters with people who operate at a high standard, keep reading.

What you’ll focus on

Business and technical discovery/scoping and solution design

  • Participate in technical discovery and blueprinting sessions with client stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and solution design.

  • Analyze architectural options using pros/cons methodology, internal knowledge/IP, and AI to finalize solution decisions.

  • Develop technical specifications and lead client discussions.

  • Create detailed functional and technical test scripts.

Data cleansing, migration, engineering & pipeline development

  • Restructure, cleanse, and migrate data into and within Salesforce, ensuring data models support both operational use and downstream reporting.

  • Establish data quality standards and governance practices that hold up across multiple client engagements.

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines, transformation workflows, and ingestion frameworks across client environments using Python and SQL.

  • Architect and implement data solutions on Salesforce Data 360 and Databricks, and integrate with enterprise data warehousing platforms.

  • Drive best practices for data modeling, pipeline reliability, performance tuning, and cost governance across engagements.

  • Support data migration, integration, and platform modernization workstreams for media and advertising sales clients.

Analytics & business intelligence

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex data and reporting requirements into reliable, performant analytics solutions.

  • Design data models that serve both operational reporting and strategic analytics use cases across prospect-to-cash workflows.

  • Support BI tool integration and dashboard development, connecting data platforms to tools such as Tableau, Databricks Analytics, or Looker.

  • Design and build analytics reports and dashboards natively within Salesforce and Tableau, translating business requirements from media and advertising sales stakeholders into clear, actionable views.

  • Apply process mapping, measurement strategy, and analytical frameworks to identify optimization opportunities and deliver insight to clients.

AI strategy & development

  • Advise clients on AI strategy and help identify where LLMs and intelligent agents can deliver meaningful business value.

  • Build and support production AI solutions using Salesforce Agentforce, Databricks Mosaic, Claude, and Gemini.

  • Stay current with emerging AI capabilities and proactively apply those patterns to client engagements and internal practice development.

Salesforce platform architecture & development

  • Design and build declarative solutions (Flows, page layouts, validation rules, permission structures) that solve business problems without unnecessary technical overhead.

  • Design and build code-based solutions (Apex, LWC, integrations) where declarative tools reach their limits. Advise clients on enterprise Salesforce architecture, including org strategy, data model design, integration patterns, and scalability considerations.

Delivery & deployment management

  • Work in leading DevOps platforms to manage and deploy solutions across sandboxes and production environments, including release planning, testing, and change management.

  • Support go-live and post-go-live support stages to ensure client satisfaction.

AI-augmented delivery

  • Leverage leading-edge AI tools to augment your own build activity, improving delivery speed and quality across engagements.

  • Leverage agents to streamline your day-to-day workflows.

What you bring

Platform depth. 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience spanning both declarative configuration and code-based development (Apex, LWC, integrations). You’ve architected solutions, not just implemented tickets.

Data fluency. Demonstrated experience restructuring, cleansing, and migrating data, with a clear point of view on how data should be modeled to serve both Salesforce and downstream analytics. 5+ years of hands-on Python and SQL experience in production data engineering or analytics environments.

Architecture judgment. Experience advising on enterprise Salesforce architecture, including the trade-offs between declarative and custom-code approaches, and how to design for scale.

AI literacy. Hands-on experience using AI tooling, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or similar, to augment technical build activity, along with a working understanding of where AI solutions add real value on the Salesforce platform.

Consulting instincts. 10+ years of consulting or technical delivery experience. You know how to lead a discovery session, structure a blueprint, and manage a complex deployment under pressure.

Industry context. Meaningful exposure to media, ad sales, or adjacent industries. You understand the commercial dynamics of prospect-to-cash workflows and bring that context into your technical recommendations.

Communication that lands. Strong facilitation, documentation, and presentation skills. You can lead a technical architecture discussion in the morning and present findings to a C-suite audience in the afternoon.

Broad platform awareness. Familiarity with adjacent data and analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or similar) is a plus. Deep expertise across the full Salesforce ecosystem is a must.

Cultural alignment. You operate with speed and agility, thriving in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. You hold yourself to a high standard - and you raise the bar for the people around you.

Why V2?

Because you won’t find another firm doing exactly what we do, and you won’t find another role like this one. You’ll be close to the action, building something real, with people who care deeply about doing exceptional work. V2 was built on the idea that consulting could be done better. We’re still proving it every day.

If you’re ready to bring the voltage, we want to hear from you.

Engineer Full Stack Engineer, Observability at LaunchDarkly

Designs and builds backend services, APIs, and AI agent infrastructure in Go for LaunchDarkly's observability platform, working across data pipelines and enterprise features.

Mid Posted about 9 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About the Job:

LaunchDarkly is looking for a Backend Engineer to help build and expand Vega, our AI-powered platform that surfaces insights and automates actions across LaunchDarkly products. This is a greenfield opportunity: you’ll help evolve Vega from an Observability-focused assistant into a cross-product platform that serves Feature Management customers and powers a new, usage-based SKU.

You’ll build the APIs, services, and agent infrastructure that make Vega and the whole Observability platform broadly valuable—enabling capabilities like AI-driven dashboard creation, flag cleanup automation, and safe, sandboxed agent execution. You’ll work primarily in Go services and data pipelines at significant scale, and collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to shape how AI capabilities land across LaunchDarkly. Additionally, you’ll work on other Enterprise-grade capabilities for the Observability platform to help drive customer activation and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and ship backend features across the Vega platform (APIs, Go services, agent infrastructure, and data pipelines)
  • Own features end-to-end: from prototype and API design through production rollout and iteration
  • Operate high-throughput data systems and keep them reliable, performant, and cost-efficient at scale
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers across Observability and Feature Management
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews, contributing to sound trade-off decisions
  • Write well-tested, maintainable code and promote best practices for quality, observability, and reliability
  • Mentor teammates and contribute to a collaborative, high-trust engineering culture
  • Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of production reliability for your features

What You’ll Work On

  • Expand Vega beyond Observability into Feature Management, including the flag cleanup agent as a cross-product capability
  • Design and operate safe, sandboxed AI agent execution infrastructure—isolation, resource limits, permissions, and auditability
  • Support enterprise capabilities for the Observability platform: building data import and export pipelines to connect O11y to other platforms and enabling new customer workflows
  • Build a platform that other teams can contribute to—defining contribution patterns, shared services, and APIs for agent capabilities
  • Power dashboard creation via natural language prompts, extending existing Vega infrastructure with new tools, context, and evaluation
  • Build the metering and usage pipelines that enable a usage-based monetization model for Vega
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering standards across the Observability and Vega teams

About You:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production-quality backend systems
  • Proficient in Go (or a similar language like Java, Rust, or C++) and experienced designing APIs and distributed services
  • Experience building or integrating LLM-powered features, agents, or AI-driven workflows
  • Experience with data-intensive systems—streaming pipelines, columnar stores (e.g., ClickHouse), or high-volume ingest is a strong plus
  • Strong product instincts: you care about how your systems are used and can translate ambiguous requirements into clean, well-scoped solutions
  • Collaborative and communicative—you work well across teams and functions, and you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Familiarity with LaunchDarkly, feature flagging, or observability tooling is a plus
  • Experience with usage-based product surfaces, sandboxing/isolation technologies, or developer tooling is a plus

Pay:

Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 3:

  • Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $171,200 - $235,400**
  • Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $154,100 - $211,860**

About LaunchDarkly:

Modern software delivery was supposed to be the foundation for a thriving digital business but reality has proven otherwise.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of technology-driven products at scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on catching what others miss — building automated coverage that lasts, and digging into logs, databases, and cloud infrastructure to find the real cause of a failure, not just its symptoms.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on testing experience across web applications, APIs, and backend services, with the technical range to move between writing automated test suites, validating data with SQL, and troubleshooting issues across distributed, cloud-based systems.

This position is open to candidates based in LATAM.

Responsibilities

  • Develops comprehensive test plans and test cases in coordination with developers working on new features and enhancements.
  • Executes manual regression and integration testing to validate application behavior and release readiness.
  • Automates existing manual test suites, prioritizing reliable and maintainable test coverage.
  • Designs, implements, and continually improves automated testing for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Works closely with developers to validate implementations, identify defects, and verify resolutions.
  • Evaluates completed work and provides QA approval for promotion through staging and production environments.
  • Identifies potential quality risks, technical roadblocks, and gaps in test coverage early in the development process.
  • Performs API, functional, integration, regression, and performance testing as required.
  • Validates application data and backend processing through SQL queries and database analysis.
  • Uses application logs, cloud monitoring tools, and other diagnostic information to investigate failures and unexpected behavior.
  • Advocates for automated testing at multiple levels, including unit, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C#, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with browser automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
  • Experience testing HTTP APIs using tools such as Postman or comparable API-testing solutions.
  • Experience with performance and load-testing tools such as JMeter.
  • Knowledge of unit-testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, NUnit, or similar.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and experience using database tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Familiarity with the AWS Console and services such as ECS, RDS, CloudWatch, and S3.
  • General understanding of cloud computing and microservices architectures.
  • Strong technical aptitude, particularly around web applications, APIs, distributed services, and client-server architectures.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices throughout the SDLC, including source control, code reviews, build and deployment processes, testing, and production operations.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate issues across application, database, and cloud infrastructure layers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to discuss technical issues effectively with developers and other stakeholders.

Why Join Nimble Gravity?

You’ll help leading financial institutions and other clients adopt AI in meaningful ways. You’ll work directly with clients, engineers, and AI specialists to turn emerging technology into measurable business outcomes. If you enjoy teaching, facilitating, influencing, and helping people embrace new ways of working, we’d love to talk.
